First locate a video online that you want to make a link to make sure its open in a NEW TAB
Then type in the words on the blogger page that best discribe the video or type the words click here for video link.
Then drag your curser over the words to highlight them.
Now click LINK on the blogger toolbar at this point you must go to the tab that has our item we want to link to.
(Note that every page has a URL title the shows on the main search window at the top of the search engine.) When you are on the page that highlight and copy the URL and past it into the open link space netx to web address. Also tick the box "open in new window".
Your done now publish.
When you view the page the linked writing will be highlited and underlined (noramly blue but can be edited otherwise) Click on it should link to the link tou made.
Putting a video on blogger
Click the insert video, then locate the file on your PC then click UPLOAD when done.
The video should now appear on the page. Now update.
Make a picture link to video
For this you will need to locate where notpad is on you computer or download notepad++ from here
- Insert a picture as below. (car pic )
- Go to the top tool bar were we found the video clip board and there is an insert image. Choose the location where the picture is on computer and choose upload

Go to You Tube, find the video clip you want to use and copy the URL address, it's a good idea to save into notepad ( notepad ++ ), here is my example code below.
Now go back to the blog page where you have your image (in my case the car)click on the the HTML next to compose is the HTML click on it - locate the code for the picture it will look something like this below.
- We have to replace the first part of the picture code that's between the first " and the next " it starts http://.
- So Highlight the code between the two " and paste to copied video URL code inplace of it.
- now update and you are done.
- View blog and click on picture and it will go to the video.
- If you mess up remove the picture from blog and insert it again and follow same process you may wish to also copy the picture code from the HTML area and save it to notepad++ do all the editing there and copy and paste the whole thing in to replace existing code.
