Why personally recommended? Because I like to buy things knowing they have been tried and tested and it is no different when it comes to software.
A computer is a fantastically useful  tool, used either for personal of business.
So whether it be desktop publishing (DTP), music / video production /editing etc it's important to have good simple to use software, to do the job.
I am a PC man so I can only provide info on software that works for that platform.

How to make a link from your ebay item on your selling page to another item

To create a link in your item description, you'll have to edit the HTML code for your listing directly if you're using the standard or advanced selling form or  Follow these steps to create a link:
  1. As you enter your item description text, enter the text "***CREATE LINK HERE***" to help you to find the place where you want to insert your link once you switch to HTML view.

  2. Click the "HTML" tab over your item description to switch to the HTML view editor.

  3. In the sea of HTML code that you see, find the "***CREATE LINK HERE***" text that you entered earlier.

  4. Replace it with the following:

    <a href="ADDRESS">LINK TEXT</a>

In place of "ADDRESS," enter the complete link, without leading or trailing spaces, beginning with "http://" and enclosing the entire link in double quotes. In place of "LINK TEXT," enter the text that you want users to have to click on to visit that link. For example:

    <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk">Click to visit eBay!</a>

looks like this in the actual listing:

    Click to visit eBay!

  5. After entering your link, click once again on the "Standard" tab at the top of your item description to return to the normal editing view, where you should see your link.
The same basic format for creating HTML links seen in step (4) above can be used from the HTML editing views of eBay Stores pages or from the HTML editing views of any software designed to help you to list on eBay or create eBay item descriptions.

Creating a new account in Google Analytics

  1. If you have already signed up for Google Analytics or you have a Google Account (in other words, you use any other Google service, such as Google Sites), sign in to your account. If you do not have an account, go to the Google Analytics signup page, click Sign up now, and follow the prompts to create a Google Analytics account.

    • If you've mapped your Google site to another web address, such as www.example.com, enter that address.
    • If you haven't mapped your site to another web address, you need to enter your full site address, such as sites.google.com/site/example.
  4. Also on the New Account Signup page, enter what you want to call this account in the Account Name box, then select your country and time zone. Then click "Continue."
  5. On the Accept User Agreement page, read the Google Analytics Terms of Service. If you agree with these, click the box next to Yes, I agree to the above terms and conditions then click "Create New Account."
  6. The next page contains a javascript code. You can ignore this code and click "Save and Finish."

Linking your Google Analytics account and your Google Site

  1. After you create your new Google Analytics account, you will be directed to you Google Analytics profile screen, where the name of your tracked site should appear, followed by a Google Analytics account number in the format, 'UA-XXXXXXXX-X.' Copy this code -- known as your Analytics Web Property ID -- and go to the site that you want to track with Google Analytics.
  2. On your site, click the More Actions drop-down menu and select Manage Site.
  3. Under the Site Settings section, click General.
  4. Click the box next to Enable Google Analytics for this site and then enter your Analytics Web Property ID in the associated box.

It can take up to 24 hours for Analytics to detect your tracking code. To check if your site is being tracked, sign in to Google Analytics, go to your profile screen and look at the Website Profile tracking status message next to the site.
